"Duet for Carmen and Dizzy"

This diptych is a tribute to Carmen McCrae and
Dizzy (John Burks) Gillespie;  two African Americans
whose musical performances touched the lives of millions
around the world. 

The left panel represents Dizzy playing his horn and the 
right panel represents Carmen singing and hitting a high 
note of the scale.
